Ahead of Sunday night’s game between Chivas USA and the New England Revolution, the Red-and-White trained today outside of Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.

Chivas USA has a pair of players with New England connections; both Shavar Thomas and Chukwudi Chijindu attended the University of Connecticut, about 90 minutes from Foxboro. Chijindu, arriving at the airport, talked about his feelings coming back to the area where he played his college ball.

The team also trained for a little more than an hour at noon on Saturday on a practice field just outside of Gillette Stadium; below are a few photos from the today’s training session.

Sunday match will be broadcast live in Southern California on FS West and W Radio 690 AM at 3:00 p.m. PT (6:00 p.m. ET).
