Chivas USA announced on Thursday that it has waived defender Jim Curtin and midfielder Bojan Stepanovic. Curtin, 30, made three appearances (two starts) for the Red-and-White in 2009, and played in 21 total matches for the team in two seasons. Stepanovic, 27, joined Chivas USA on March 29, 2009, and made 16 appearances (7 starts) for the club last season, scoring one goal and adding two assists.
