Chivas USA defender and co-captain Jonathan Bornstein, a native of Los Alamitos, was named on Wednesday to the United States National Team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Bornstein, 25, will depart with the team for South Africa on May 30, where the U.S. will play its opening match of the tournament against England on June 12 in Rustenburg live on ABC at 11:00 a.m. PT.
