Chivas USA would like to thank all the fans that showed their support during the 2010 season.
Chivas USA held its 4th annual ‘Fundación Chivas de Corazón’ Charity Golf Tournament on Sept. 27 at the Pacific Palms Resort in the City of Industry.
Chivas USA will take on the Seattle Sounders this Friday at 8:00 p.m. PT at Qwest Field in Seattle. The Red-and-White are looking to build off the momentum of their 3-0 victory over Toronto FC and avenge a loss to the Sounders in the U.S. Open Cup on September 1. Seattle is on a four game winning streak in MLS play and is coming off a victory in the U.S. Open Cup final over Columbus, while Chivas USA snapped a three-game skid with a win against Toronto FC on Saturday, getting goals from Jorge Flores, Jesús Padilla, and Rodolfo Espinoza. Saturday’s match will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes, as well as W Radio 690 AM.
Jorge ‘Sueño’ Flores scored his first goal since 2008 and Jesús Padilla and Rodolfo Espinoza scored late to give Chivas USA a 3-0 victory over Toronto FC on Saturday night at The Home Depot Center. The win came in the Red-and-White’s second to last home game of the season, with the final home match of the year coming October 23 against the Chicago Fire. Chivas USA continued its domination of Toronto FC at The Home Depot Center, earning its fourth win over the Canadian team in four tries. Since 2007, the Red-and-White have scored nine goals to Toronto’s one in the four meetings.
